Plan to get to Main Street early in order to watch the parade, enjoy freshly made pancakes and purchase a souvenir t-shirt. The 2008 Tucker Day shirts were a hot commodity and unfortunately sold our long before the days activities came to an end. Bands will play throughout the day and the festival usually runs early morning until around 4pm at which point the street market is replaced with the cars for the cruise-in.

Attendance at the Annual Tucker Day festivities is a wonderful way to show your support for local area businesses and the revitalization of Tucker’s Downtown Core Area. In addition, the proceeds of the pancake breakfast support the 2008 Georgia State Champion Tucker High School Football team and Quarterback Club while the 5K run benefits the Tucker High School Marching Band and Booster Club.

Voting for Tuckerpedia’s 2008 Best of Tucker Awards closed at midnight on December 31, 2008. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. Tucker has some great establishments, many who where not featured this year but we hope to have many more categories next year.

Due to the unscrupulous voting practices by one particular fan of a not to be named bar/restaurant, some votes were removed and the totals at the bottom will not add up to the totals listed for each nominee. Thanks moron!
