The Northlake-Barbara Loar Library will be closed for several months beginning Monday, April 7 as the County prepares to begin expansion work on the branch. As a result of the expansion project, the Northlake-Barbara Loar Library will be enlarged from 10,000 to 15,000 square feet, add space for a new Teen Area while enlarging the current Children’s Area. The results of the project include adding 10 new computer work stations to bring the total number of workstations to 14 while also adding an Audiovisual collection area & Magazine collection area. Construction is scheduled for completion in June 2009.
