The final upgrade of our local area libraries is scheduled to begin in March of 2009. The Embry Hills Branch of the Dekalb Library System will double in size allowing for a doubling of the current volumes stocked while also adding a 65 seat meeting room to the facility. The new building will also house a Youth services area, Audio-visual collection area, 15 computers for public use, self checkout stations and be open additional hours. Construction is projected to be completed by January 2010.
