Stopping by Sherry’s to pick up a couple of  squash or a bag of freshly shelled peas has become a Tucker tradition for many local residents. Owner Sherry Harris has been selling some of the freshest fruits and vegetables in Tucker from her produce stand at the corner of Lawrenceville Highway and Brockett Road for 13 years.

If you drive by Sherry’s and think they are closed because you do not see the usual stock pile of vegetables and fruits facing Lawrenceville Highway, do not despair. This year Harris has moved the majority of the produce items to the overhang close to the front door of the building so that Sherry’s  can remain open in the rain. Harris believes that while it may take a couple of weeks for her customers to get used to the new layout, the move will allow her to better serve her loyal customers in all kinds of weather.
